A wild couple of nights for us MN sports fans!!!!!!!
I see quite a few brewskis ahead for us.
I am going to have to record much of the playoffs and stuff the next couple of weeks though.

Not often you can go from goat to hero, but Casilla did it. Now, kick some Yankee butt.

I had football as soon as the Tigers went on the 3-0 lead. Glad to see Leyland filling up the old whiskey and heater jar for the winter!!!!!

The Twins are cursed in the new Yankee's stadium; I am convinced after that blown call in extras by the ump and the proceeding bases loaded with no outs and no run scored fiasco. It was like extra interrogation by the stadium curse for Span having hit an RBI single off Mariano Rivera to give the Twins a 2 run lead in the top half of the eighth, bumping Rivera's 3-50 with 2 outs and RISP stat to a 4-51 but allowing A-Rod to improve upon his postseason numbers at the plate with RISP by giving him the opportunity to tie the game in the bottom of the ninth.

Wow. That was a long sentence.

That game sucked. That blown call sucked. What really sucked was having the bases loaded twice.....TWICE....and not being able to score. *sigh* An uncomfortable reminder of the Mets this season.

I'm sort of counting on seeing the Twins that I saw take it to an extra tie-breaking game with Detroit. Those Twins were scrappy and managed to score and fight and scratch out an extra innings win. I'd like to see them win 2 in the TC, then come back here and win here in NY.

Gawd I hate the Yankees.

Go Twins!
