Since the start of September the Jays have shredded the Twins, then the Rays, now working on the White Sox... thats two 3 game sweeps and a double-header sweep thus far against the White Sox. Two more games against the White Sox then they have a series against the Red Sox...
too little too late or are they a viable stretch run team? |

too little too late. they are 8.5 games out in the east, 7 in the wild card. there are what, 17 games left in the season? (I counted the sox schedule, they have 17, it may differ a bit between teams but) There is no way that either the sox or the rays drop 7 more games than the blue jays in the next few weeks. the sox have won their last like 4 series, I just don't see it happening.
And even if it did happen, Minnesota still has a game up on them for the wild card. I am pretty confident that it will be red sox and rays winning the east and wild card in some order, I still think the sox will come out and grab the east but it could go either way. |

No action in the Jays forum since 2008? Just had to give them a *bump* and a little love.
